According to sales data for the month of March 2023, the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) published a list of the top automobile brands in the country.

  • MARUTI SUZUKI

With 1,37,201 passenger vehicle sales in March 2023, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. continues to hold the top spot in the Indian automotive market.

This represents an increase of 15.83 percent year over year, with an increase in total sales of 18,755 units.

1,18,446 passenger automobiles were sold by Maruti Suzuki at the same time period the previous year.

  • TATA MOTORS

In the sales rankings for March 2023, Tata Motors has surpassed Hyundai to reach the runner-up position.

In March 2023, it sold 46,847 units, an increase of 9,908 units.

In comparison to the same period last year, when the company sold 36,939 units, this represents an increase of 26.82 percent.

  • HYUNDAI

It is currently at third spot in this list after selling 45,703 passenger automobiles in March 2023.

This represents a growth of 1,937 units from March 2022, or 4.42 percent year over year.

  • MAHINDRA

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd is ranked fourth in the list.

In March 2023, it sold 32,196 passenger vehicle units, up 34.07 percent from the previous month.

The business sold 24,014 passenger vehicles over the same period last year.

  • KIA MOTORS

In March 2023, Kia Motors India Pvt Ltd sold 21,023 passenger vehicles, climbing up to the fifth position.

This is a growth of 3,597 units, or 20.64 percent, from the prior year.

  • TOYOTA

In March 2023, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd sold 15,623 passenger vehicles, placing 6th overall.

In comparison to March 2022, when the company sold 11,195 units, this is a year-over-year growth of 39.55 percent or 4,428 units.

  • SKODA AUTO VOLKSWAGEN GROUP

In March 2023, the Skoda Auto Volkswagen Group sold 7,977 passenger vehicles, an increase of 607 units or 8.21 percent over the same month in the previous year.

Due to this, it moved up to position 7 on the table. The company sold 7,390 units as of March 2022.
